Generate Banners with AI
Create on-brand banner artwork for your league’s public pages — no design tools needed.
Where to Find It
The banner editor lives in the Admin dashboard under Settings → Appearance. It’s also offered while creating a new organization. The editor has three modes:
- Custom — build a banner from a template (colors, fonts, layout).
- Upload — use your own image.
- Generate with AI — describe the look you want and let AI produce artwork.
Generate a Banner
- Open Settings → Appearance and switch the editor to Generate with AI.
- Pick a Vibe — Pro, Amateur, or Social — to set the tone of the artwork. The sport shown next to the vibe comes from your organization and shapes the imagery.
- Pick a Color palette (primary + secondary, with an optional accent). Palettes default to sport-appropriate combinations, so your banner matches your public site’s colors.
- Click Generate banners. Generation runs in the background and typically takes 10–30 seconds — a progress indicator shows the current stage.
- Three variants appear. Click one to select it and see it in the live preview above.
- Click Save banner to publish it to your public pages.
Iterate
- Regenerate produces three fresh variants with the same vibe and palette.
- Each variant has a “more like this” option — use it to refine in the direction of a variant you almost like.
How it works: banners are generated server-side with OpenAI’s image model through an async job queue, so you can keep working while they render. Self-hosted deployments need the worker process and Redis running, plus an OPENAI_API_KEY on the server.
